Its a softball league for students who have special needs. Each Saturday they play games out at the <span style="font-weight: bold;">Burton Center</span> @ <span style="font-weight: bold;">10 </span>and <span style="font-weight: bold;">11</span>. Each player has to have a buddy to assist them as they play. Over the last couple of weeks they have been short on helpers. <br /><br />Thats where we come in. There are 3 weeks left in the season. With that there were a couple of things that I wanted for you as <span style="font-style: italic;">D-Group leaders to note</span>.<br /><br />1) <span style="font-weight: bold;">Make sure that you get your students contact info by next week</span>. <br /> <br /> - This will help you to stay in touch with your group.<br /><br />2) <span style="font-weight: bold;">If you cannot make it to D-Group you need to contact your students</span>. <br /><br /> - I will be there each week, and I can hang with any students who are not in a D-Group but we want parents to know going into Sunday night that you will not be there.<br /><br />3) <span style="font-weight: bold;">We want for your groups to get active.</span><br /><br /> - There are plenty of opportunities for you and your group to get plugged into the community and our church.<br /><br /> - We will need D-Groups to help out with Ivan Parker this Thursday. If you can be there please sign up in the youth room <span style="font-weight: bold;">Wednesday night.</span><br /><br /> - I am going to need help Friday for the Emerald vs. Pendleton tailgate.
